Members & roles

Invite teammates and decide what they can see and do.

A SignalSeal workspace can have as many members as you need. Each member has a role that controls what actions they can take and a scope that controls which apps in the workspace they can see.

Roles

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerFull access. Manage billing, members, and every app. There must always be at least one Owner per workspace.
AdminEverything an Owner can do except delete the workspace and manage billing.
DeveloperConfigure SDKs, integrations, ad networks, and event mappings. Cannot manage members or billing.
GrowthRun campaigns: connect ad networks, view dashboards, edit deep links and event mappings. Cannot install or configure SDKs.
View onlyRead-only access. Can view dashboards and the Live Feed but cannot change anything.

Owners and Admins always have access to every app in the workspace. Developer, Growth, and View-only members can be scoped to specific apps if you don't want them seeing everything.

Scope

When you invite a Developer, Growth, or View-only member, you can pick how broad their access is:

  • All apps - they see every app in the workspace, including any new apps you add later.
  • Selected apps - they only see the apps you tick in the picker. Adding a new app to the workspace later will not automatically grant them access.

Invite a teammate

Open Settings → Members

From your workspace, go to Settings → Members → Invite member.

Enter their email and pick a role

Type the email address of the person you want to invite and pick a role from the dropdown.

Choose their scope

If you picked Developer, Growth, or View-only, choose All apps or Selected apps. If you picked Selected apps, tick the apps they should have access to.

Send the invitation

Click Send invitation. They'll get an email with a link to accept. The invite is valid for 14 days.

Change a member's role or scope

Open Settings → Members

Find the member in the list.

Click Edit

You can change their role and, if applicable, their scope. Changes take effect immediately - they don't need to log out and back in.

Remove a teammate

From Settings → Members, click Remove next to the member you want to remove. They'll lose access immediately.

Removing a member doesn't disconnect any ad networks they connected. Those connections stay tied to the workspace, not to the user. To revoke a connection, go to Settings → Ad Accounts.
